LSU Indian Mounds

Took my LSU quadcopter out to the Indian Mounds on campus this weekend. High altitude panoramic shots, woo!

Q450 Ghost Quadcopter build

For a while now, I've wanted to integrate LEDs into my quadcopters. It really seems to add to the "wow factor", especially flying at night. So during a recent Hobbyking purchase, I picked up a Q450 Ghost frame. So far, so good. I love the integrated power distribution board (Saved me a couple bucks on a separate board, saves space, and it looks pretty neat).
Also in the order I received some other goodies, to include an FrSky Taranis! This thing is pretty sweet. Having been using the Hobbyking model of the T6A V2, the Taranis is light years ahead. There's a screen on the transmitter, no need to plug it into a computer. More switches than you can shake a stick at. And it even talks to you when you turn it on. I think I'm in love, ladies and gentlemen.

My Hubsan X4 rides again - Hubsan X4 repair

The drones episode of Southpark was hilarious. While watching it tonight, I repaired my Hubsan X4. The video is a bit lacking on detail, but you'll get the gist.

Forest Flight FPV

Had an opportunity to go fly in the woods by my parent's house this weekend. It was beautiful, and the footage was pretty neat! Let me know what you think in the comments.

Zoomin' Around the Church

Took my FPV250 out to a church, and shot some proper HD FPV footage with a Mobius camera. Neat.

Flite Test Versa Wing Blunt Nose Build

It's "Dead week" at my university this week. That's the week before final exams. Rather than studying, I've been building a foam flying wing. Oh joy!
